Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia Vila has been active in pop music as well as flamenco. She also explores other categories like hip-hop and Trap. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela described her voice as delicate and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer is her new album made available in 2018, and had a huge commercial and critical reception. After Los Angeles, her debut album her album was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and was also awarded the Grammy. The single La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami came out as her fourth album that was full-length. It featured collaborations on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists, including Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set began to be released in conjunction with the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has been the only Spanish singer to perform solo on the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that earned her the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
