MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player in music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca is one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina in the following year. Then, in 2021 the singer sang a duet 2021 with TINI in her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo came from a household of music both his parents have been musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is an essential part of his life. As a child, he was taught to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. The initial goal was to be a veterinarian However, his brother Julian persuaded him to learn to sing with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he realized his talents for singing, and the result transformed his career path.
